beginning of the end for the Celtics.

They're still cursed to this day. Look how the got screwed in the draft lottery this year. Statistically they had the best shot at the #1 pick, and ended up with the fifth.

Bad mojo.

Len Bias and Reggie Lewis, double bad luck...with Bias the Celtics would have had more athleticism to deal with the up and coming Pistons and to run with the Lakers...a bunch of bad draft picks beyond the Bias snork out and the Lewis cack off have also doomed the Celtics...anyone remember Micheal Smith? Ron Mercer never panned out...way overspent on Dana Barros, only to see him suck it...Paul Pierce is decent enough, but he's a ball hog, getting fat and at this point of his career will start taking more jumpers than drives...

yeah right first I put two awful songs in your head and now I am picking on your spelling. Nothing personal just screwing around.

I hate to say it man but the B's aren't going anywhere til the fucking Jacobs sell the team and Harry Sinden is put in his grave. Its a shame to see an original six team fall so far into the shit pile.

I saw Bobby skate as a kid and now I have to see this. Its a disgrace to be honest with you. You want to talk awful trades where's Jumbo Joe playing now? Well it could be worse, we could be Blackhawk fans.

I love when Kesey called danny Ainge "one mean Mormon" to Bird and Mchale during the NYE PPV broadcast. Unfortunately the Celts are going to be bad for a while. Could be worse...Calling all Bruin fans! A friend said they were actually thinking of Mike Milbury again.

shit man! - i was actually calling for Millbury again considering what was out there. I would rather have them call up Gordon, but i knew they wouldn't do it because they are pussy shit. Look what they did with Laviouette (sp?).

Gordon is the answer - Millbury isnt - Julien isn';t either - i think they should have gone with Gorden - he is pure gold with young kids

I loved Milbury when he played. Especially when he beat those New Yorkers at MSG with a shoe. (LOL)

But he did a lot of damage running the Islanders into the ground for years. Granted Wang is an idiot owner down there also but Milbury ran that ship. Honestly, the game has changed to much for a guy like Milbury. I hate to say it because I love the old hockey style of the Big Bad Bruins and Broad St Bullies but in this day and age the "knuckle draggers" are done. We need someone in there that understands this new style of game that Bettman has shoved down our throats. I like this Julien guy.

Truthfully we are still years from being anything worth watching.

do you like Julien?? he has a good record!! i have to admit that. i just hope he can do something for out sad franchise. i just hear that he is "too nice" - that is the only "bad" thing i have heard.

other than that - his record with teams is pretty sweet - i hope he can get my team out of their doldrums - we have a couple of good lines - one through three arent bad - we just need some grit

I don't know yet but he is a new style of coach, thats a good thing. But first I would like to know how a guy gets fired with a 47-24-8 record, good for first place and only a few games left before the playoffs. How does that happen?

What I read somewhere was he wanted to move away from the trap and that was his downfall in Jersey. God!!! I hope thats true, nothing worse than watching the trap being played. The only thing worse than watching the Devils do it would be having the team you watch play that way all year.

I have a feeling he will be on a very short leach. He will not be given the room Dave Lewis had. Julien understands the game has changed, that could mean good things.

BTW Lewis was awful and I called it right from the begining, I knew he wouldn't do well here. He was crap in Detroit and carried that same crap to Boston. Good luck and good bye

i agree with the short leash - and agree with everything else you said man - you are right on with the scene

coudn't agree more

i really hope Julien sets up a forechecking style of play and a physical style - the bruins were nothing but a doormat in 2006 - time will tell -

i like what you say man - you seem to know your stuff - very cool

Julien isn't bad. it's your front office that needs to do the job. Could be worse calgary went with Old mike Keenan. that marriage won't last a year and a half. My friend in Boston said when the Milbury rumors started the local news played the clip of him back in the 70's climbing into the stands at nassau and pounding that fan with a shoe. Total slap shot moment

Yeah thats what I was saying earlier about the shoe. But it was MSG and it was against the Rangers.

Link:http://youtube.com/watch?v=8Yw8GTNOECY

Pure comedy!!!

Terry O'Reilly is my hero!! Is there anything better than watching Ranger fans run away at the sight of Boston players coming to beat them up? Well Maybe....Watching the changing expressions on the faces of the Yankee fans in 2004 after game 4,5,6 and then game 7.

are you shi*** me? That deal is horrible. That guy should have been fired last year. He's like a fantasy geek. The guy makes trades just to say he did. If garnett is unhappy in Minnesota I can just imagine what kind of sour pill he'll be losing in beantown all the time.

I'd like to feel sorry for the Celtics, but have you ever heard Red Auerbach's story about how he got Bill Russell? He promised Les Harrison, the Rochester owner, that Rochester could have the circus for a week if they didn't draft Russell. And Harrison said o.k. Auerbach sweated it out until the last moment hoping Harrison wouldn't go back on his word and take Russell anyway. And he didn't. For some reason Harrison is still revered here in Rochester. It's all in Feinstein's book about Auerbach, by the way, which is a great read. I loved it, and I'm not a Celtics fan.

As for Billups, the only thing worse than getting him instead of Duncan was letting him go.
